Brick Paver Sealing
Why should you seal your pavers?
Why should you seal your pavers, well there are a number of reasons but first and foremost is to protect them from staining. Every time a car parks on your driveway there is a risk of an oil stain, or some type of fluid leak. It is very difficult to remove an oil stain from an unsealed paver. Other benefits of sealing pavers are increased time in between cleanings, and a much better looking product as the pictures below will show.
We use Seal n Lock products for a couple reasons the first being it is the best paver sealing product we have found. Seal n Lock provides a beautiful finished product, it hardens the sand in the joints providing stability to the paver. Hardening the joint sand also prevents weed growth and ant hills from ruining the look of the your driveway or patio. Seal n Lock will NOT turn white over time as many others sealing will do. Below is a video of Paver sealing by Rich Colletti the owner of Seal n Lock.
Below is a series of pictures from a paver sealing project in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The old sealer had turned white, so we stripped the old sealer, re-sanded the driveway, and applied two coats of Seal n Lock super wet sealer.
